Following on from last week’s big CSS consolidation on Brightblack, this week, I added and upgraded a few other bits on the back end.
Gallery, where I keep all my online photos [here] has been upgraded from 1.5 to the database driven v2. As you can see , it looks better, and despite being more complex, I think is actually easier to administer, if that makes sense. For users, it’s a nicer interface if nothing else, and slightly more code standards compliant. (Check out the ‘unpossible’ button at the bottom too).
I’ve also added the forums again [here]. OK, I know they come and go a few times a year, but this time I think they’ll stay for a while. They’re again based on phpBB2, but as you can see, I still need to get some configging done on them.
Finally, I’ve uploaded a wiki, purely because I’ve never run one live before, and I’m interested in seeing where it leads. Again, it needs customising pretty badly! It’s currently based on MediaWiki, the software which runs Wikipedia. Let me know what you think.
Now back to adding content!
