This morning Tokyo was treated to a magnitude 6 earthquake which shook pretty much everything in the city. The quake measured a 7.2 on the Richter in Miyagi prefecture. I was on the 22nd floor of our office building in central Tokyo, and it was a bit tricky walking at the height of it, and the light fittings were swinging pretty well! It was also odd to look out of the windows towards Shinagawa to see those buildings swaying too. News stories from Reuters and BBC Online.
